31 day Disney Challenge - Day 31

So the final day... favourite ending:

Beauty and the Beast, because I'm a hopeless romantic and I love happy endings but I liked the unusal bittersweet ending of Pocahontas as well. I also liked that instead of a storybook they used this handdrawn picture, like at the beginning. I liked how the ending of The Lion King suggested that the story goes on and on and never ends.Wreck-it Ralph is different again, the whole credits is a story by itself and very enjoyable in my opinion :)

31 day Disney Challenge - Day 30

Day 30:
 Disney's impact on my life

Disney's definitely responsible for my obsession with lion cubs and plastic lion figures - The Lion King was the first Disney movie I ever saw, I think. And the first one I saw in a movie theatre. The lion cubs were cute so we wanted some. The two robust ones in the middle, a girl and a boy, were our first lion cubs so they had to be named Simba and Nala.

(Nala was first, Simba came a few weeks later) They lost their tails fairly quickly but other than that, they hold up quite well to play. About 22 years have passed and the're still there.

The next one was the little lady with her two identical looking brothers. Fact is, she had another brother but I lost him and we got a replacement some years later. They are not as well made and cute as the first ones were but I was happy I kind of got him back - that little lion cub is the only toy I still miss sometimes. When we got the replacement then my little brother wanted one, too so we got one for him as well. The names are: Somba, the original little girl, her brothers: Simba (the one I lost) and Tiny (the one belonging to my brother)

Vadócka and Lidércke

Last came the two on the right (I mean the big family picture), Lidércke, a boy (his name means little demon, little ghost) and Vadócka, a girl (her name means little vild one) The parents came the christmas after the second cubs were purchased.  :) So much about this 'little' lion family.
During the 2000s, I kind of left Disney and picked up again with Tiana and Rapunzel but I got really back into it when Frozen came out - there started my doll collection, with the help of people I would never got to know otherwise and I'm really thankful for those friendships. :)
So in short: Disney gave me the love for animals and friend I would never have known othervise

31 day Disney Challenge - Day 29

Day 29:
Moments I would like to experience:

The first one may seem a bit odd but I would really appreciate it to get help and advice when needed and from someone I'm sure has my best interests at heart and trust this persons judgement.
A magic carpet ride would be a great thing, and sharing it with someone special would add a lot to the experience, I'm sure. I would freeze to death and be scared but I wouldn't care as long I can hold on to something so I won't fall. It would be pure magic to fly around the world like that. :)

31 day Disney Challenge - Day 20, Day 21 and Day 22

Day 20:
favourite soundtrack: The Lion King and Pocahontas were the ones I listened to most when I was a kid and they are still my favourites.

I would have loved to include 'If I never knew you' but the hun version was never made - Disney didn't think it worth to make the hun dub for the anniversary version :( I love the version sung by Michael Crawford and Sherie René Scott most. Crawford has a Disney Album I just love.

Day 21:
favourite sequel: I'm mostly neutral about sequels (Except Mulan 2 - I think it turned out terrible) but Toy Story sequels are pretty good, if Pixar counts, otherwise I'd choose the third Lion King.

Day 22:
favourite Pixar film: Toy Story and Inside Out

I saw Toy Story in an open air movie theatre when I was about 8 and immediately liked the toys beeing alive idea. Inside out is something so different and interesting and still full of magic, it's really a lovely movie! 

31 day Disney Challenge - Day 9, Day 10, Day 11 and Day 12

Day 9: favourite sidekick:
Abu, you can see a few reasons in the pictures why he is a favourite :)

Although he can't talk, he can express so much!

The next two are about quotes, I just love quotes - I often put one I think is suitable at the beginning of my posts :)
Day 10: favourite serious quote:

Yes that picture does not go with the quote, but he looks so vise :)

I know this is an overused one but it is something I'm still trying to learn :)

Day 11: favourite funny quote:

Hades: I can't believe this guy! I throw everything I've got at him, and it doesn't even...

Pain: Um, I don't know. I-I thought they looked kinda dashing...
Hades: [slowly burns up] I've got 24 hours to get rid of this... bozo, or the entire scheme I've been setting up for 18 years goes up in smoke, and YOU ARE WEARING HIS MERCHANDISE?
[Hades hears a noise, and sees Panic slurping some "Herculade"]
Panic: [chuckles nervously] Thirsty?
[Hades screams, and blows up a volcano]

 In the hun version, Panic offers a "cooling drink" to Hades so it's extra funny, Hades beeing so firey. :)  And the two are called Pech and Pánik in hungarian - Panicis Panic but  Pech actually means ill-luck. It suits him. :)

31 day Disney Challenge - Day 6: favourite animal: I'm not sure if I got this one right but I vote for the lion cubs from the Lion King. Aren't they adorable?

Again, there are so many. As Lion King was our (my sister and I) favourite movie, our favourite song had to be „Can you feel the love tonight”

31 day Disney Challenge - Day 1

Disney Challenge
I started a Disney Challenge on flickr because it sounded fun and I thought I could post it here as well.
Here are the tasks:

Day 1 - Favourite movie:

Yes, yes, this was a though one, really. I love so many! As a small child, Lion king was number one, it was the first movie I saw in cinema and I had lots of plastic lion figurines and still have most of them. Later Hercules and Beauty and the Beast became favourites as well. Hercules is so funny, Beauty and the Beast is mainly a favourite because of Belle and the story - I often felt like I'm odd. Wreck-it Ralph has a nice story and we had so much fun watching it with my siter and brother, I loved the jokes :)
 I love so many others as well, like Mulan and Aladdin and Frozen and... but I had to stop somewhere and that's the best I could come up with. :)
