A quick look at my Disney dolls from 2015 - part 1

"I alone can tell now

what the end will be"

from Miss Saigon by Boublil and Schönberg, Finale

First things first: these are not the newest dolls. They came out in 2015.
So these 2015 Disney dolls weren't originally ordered for me, but as I mentioned in the 2017 Belle review, things happened and they ended up staying with me. It's been three years and now I call these poor little dollies mine and take all of them out of their boxes. Rapunzel and Beast had been taken out before the rest of the gang - the original to-be-owner of the dolls asked me to do it.
It's not a proper review although it'll be mostly just deboxing pictures with comments from me and my two Deboxing Experts, Kiki and Dolly. They'll come in the order I deboxed them.
First look at them, still in the shipping box:
More dolls hiding under them. Eric, for example.
And of course Ariel, his princess.
And Flynn, so Rapunzel wasn't lonely.
And the Beast.
His box is bigger than the other prince boxes.
He was the first I deboxed, in early 2016.
My two little helpers were there to start. Oh, you are really big, Beast, Dolly thinks.
She examines him closely. Nice clothes, I like especially that blue coat.
There is no deboxing without sitting on the box first. Dolly is busy telling something important to Beast. Possibly telling him her opinion of the movie.
Or simply beeing naughty. She claims she just tested something.
Tested how Beast reacts to beeing turned upside down. Now this is not how you welcome new dolls.
He has the headache. This'll make him feel better.
Enough chit-chat, let's get to work.
Tons of ties to remove.
This is the best picture of Beast you'll see. His clothes are nice and the head sculpt is really good but I'm not fond of the construction of the doll - big head on a normal neck. It looks odd and he's very top-heavy. And giving him the right bodysize with a stuffed coat doesn't really work well either. I think he is good enough as a display doll but for play he is not that suitable. I'd prefer the prince doll, (but they are not making him now) he'd have no such issues :)
No worries, it'll take just a minute to get you out there.
Thank you for getting me out, ladies.
That neckcloth is really interesting. It is called neckcloth yet it is plastic. Dolly thinks this is not how it should be.
Next is Hannah Rapunzel.
She wishes to be free.
You have long hair.
And you're so pretty. Look at all the details on her dress. She has the sheer part of her sleeves, the middle section of her skirt and many little decorative jewels on her dress.
A quick look at the back of the box, it has the stock photo of the doll.
Such beautiful hair!
We have to get you out.
Those ties around the waist are a pain.
Rapunzel waits patiently.
Meanwhile, Dolly found Rapunzels name at yet another spot on the box. Just so we know this is Rapunzel. In case we didn't know.
Step by step, she's freed. As you can see, she comes barfoot.
Another look at her pretty face, this time without the plastic.
So many ties! Are they all so necessary?
The hands are free!
I'm putting this this tie aside for your hair. I think you'll need it.
Hannah Rapunzel is free, She, too is puzzled by that necktie.
And her hair is a mess. I heard previous Rapunzels had thicker hair. For comparison, please see this post by Beastsbelle. It is a review of the Rapunzel doll that came out a year later than this one but it has all the Rapunzel dolls hair compared.
She's a dreamer.
I combed it a little and put it quickly in a braid.
Sometime between Rapunzel and Ariel, I deboxed Flynn. My sister and I agreed that his design is great. But I don't have deboxing photos of him so I'll share what I have.
The first picture I took of him, I think. It looks like he uses lipstick in this picture, on the real doll it's less noticable.
At the Party with Aurenna Aurora. He has a nice, detailed outfit although his satchel is nothing but a piece of leather as decoration. But his boots have many nice moulded and painted details.
Another picture for Valentine's Day - he looks like he's not in a good mood.
This one is better.
He looks much friendlier. His outfit is made of two pices, top and bottom, there is no separate west and shirt.
Next is Ariel Susanne. I deboxed her much later, two years after I got Rapunzel and Beast out of their boxes.
A closer look at her lovely face. I think this is a really good Ariel, I only wish I had Flounder, too. :)
This one is the same as above, only it looks like Ursula is taking her voice.
*insert Ariels singing here*
 Some box details.
And the back of the box.
It has the stock photo of the doll, like Rapunzels box. It's nice but I prefer to see the animated characters picture.
Her hair curls around her arm and that section is stiff with hairproduct. Her bangs are also quite hard.
I think her tail is nice enough but the fins collect a lot of dust so she was turned into a human I mean she got a skirt for now.
These girls all have pointy feet fit for heels, rubber legs with klick knees and articulation at the neck, shoulders, elbows, wrists and hips. The standard Disney Store Princess joints for the classic dolls.
Part two will have the rest of the guys, Eric and Aladdin and the last lady, Jasmine. Mainly Jasmine.
